Jesse graduated from George Washington University in 2004 and began a career in commercial real estate development. While working in the corporate world, he spent much of his free time volunteering at local animal shelters. Through this continued volunteer work, Jesse helped to foster and successfully find homes for numerous dogs. While living out of state Jesse, and his black lab Miles, became regular patrons at several dog care facilities.
Upon moving back home to Pittsburgh, it became clear that his hometown was in need of such a facility. Jesse then committed his efforts to full time employment in the industry, as well as intense training and dog care education. After committing to opening the best dog care facility in the area, he joined forces with his longtime friend Chris, and The Dog Stop LLC was born.
Of course, Jesse’s three dogs, Miles (Black Lab), Bruce (Yorkie) and Simba (Shi-Poo) are regular visitors to The Dog Stop®.
Chris graduated from Villanova University in 2000 with a degree in finance. He began his career with H.J. Chris has considerable experience and knowledge of both the financial and retail side of the pet care industry.
A dog lover from the start, Chris owned his first dog, a mutt Gizmo in college and now has an American Bulldog (Rocky) and a Boxer (J.R.)
